Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits in the cardiac cath lab, where you will provide dynamic pre- and post-procedure care, as well as PACU recovery. Our fast-paced and expanding field includes the treatment of patients with vascular, electrical conduction, coronary diseases, and structural heart diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and procedural support in both acute and non-acute situations.
• Assist with pre-procedure preparations and post-procedure recovery of patients.

Qualifications

• Telemetry experience.
• Current RN License (NY License ONLY).
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• ACLS (AHA) certification.
• Recent CVICU/Cardiac Care or PACU experience is required.
• Cath lab experience is preferred.

Behavioral Characteristics

We are looking for candidates who embody strength in skills and experience, particularly in:

• Cath Lab experience: Highly desired (2 years preferred).
• Telemetry: Required.
• BLS (AHA): Required.
• ACLS (AHA): Required.
• CVICU/Cardiac Care experience: Required.
• RN License (NY License ONLY): Required.

Working Schedule

This position requires 40 hours per week, consisting of four 10-hour shifts covering straight nights, with occasional weekend availability as needed by the unit.
