- Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse / Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
- Location: Largo, FL 33770
- Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
- Hours per Week: 40
- Assignment Length: 26 weeks
- Start Date: 09/29/2026
- Schedule Notes: Every other weekend and holiday rotation may be required
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred in a hospital, procedural, or acute care setting
- Prior Cath Lab, interventional cardiology, or cardiovascular procedural experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work 10-hour day shifts and participate in weekend and holiday rotation
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and cardiovascular procedures
- Monitor patients before, during, and after interventional cardiology procedures
- Assist the interdisciplinary team with procedural workflow, patient preparation, and clinical support
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols and patient safety standards
- Support patient education and help ensure a positive patient experience in the cath lab
- Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and allied health professionals to promote excellent outcomes
