Job Details
- Position Description: Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including left and right heart catheterizations, while managing patient monitoring and procedural sedation. Support interdisciplinary teams in a busy cardiac catheterization lab environment, providing expert care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Required Qualifications: Valid certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Registry Certification in Interventional Cardiovascular and Radiologic Specialist (RCIS). Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting, with proficiency in procedures such as cardioversion, diagnostic catheterizations, and interpreting dysrhythmias.
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Days, with 8-12 days of call per month and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Must have Cath Lab experience and be able to take call for STEMI or Vascular cases. The position entails floating to similar units within scope as needed based on the facility's requirements. Brief orientation and labs are required within 48 business hours of contract start.
