Job Summary
The organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) in an inpatient cardiac setting. This role involves supporting non-invasive cardiac diagnostics, particularly stress testing and diagnostic procedures, with a focus on patient assessment, monitoring, medication administration, and emergency response during cardiac testing procedures.
Job Details
- Certifications: Active RN license, ACLS certification
- Education: Current licensure verification, drivers license or state ID, and professional references are required for submission.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of cardiac nursing experience, including stress testing modalities such as nuclear medicine, MRI, dobutamine, stress echo, and related procedures.
- Location Requirements: Not specified.
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, with the schedule being either 4 days of 10 hours (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with rotating day off) or 5 days of 8 hours (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), negotiable. Rotating weekend coverage is required.
- Responsibilities include pre-procedure assessments, monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms, medication administration, assisting with various diagnostic procedures, recognizing abnormal findings, collaborating with the cardiovascular team, and patient education.
- The candidate must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment and have strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
