Job Summary
The organization is seeking an ICU Burn (Intensive Care Unit Burn) registered nurse in the healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care for adult and pediatric burn trauma patients with injuries such as flame, scald, electrical, chemical burns, inhalation injuries, necrotic ischemia, and necrotizing fasciitis throughout the continuum of care. The nurse will work under a primary care model with specific patient ratios and support, including managing invasive hemodynamic monitoring, IV drip titration, burn fluid resuscitation, ventilator management, and other critical care procedures.

- Hours: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Nursys license verification, professional drivers license or state ID, professional profile, three professional references, and experience in ICU Burn specialty. Minimum of 1 year of experience in relevant field.

- Additional Information: This role involves caring for burn trauma patients with injuries including flame, scald, electrical, chemical burns, inhalation injuries, necrotic ischemia, and necrotizing fasciitis throughout the continuum of care. Responsibilities include invasive hemodynamic monitoring (at least Q 1 hr), IV drip titration, nurse-driven burn fluid resuscitation following Parkland formula, ventilator management, CVVH, pulse and flap Doppler checks (every hour), initial debridement and dressing changes, conscious sedation, surgical recovery, and epidural pump management.
