Job Summary
ICU Burn Specialist Research Medical Center KCMO 64132
This role involves providing specialized intensive care to adult burn patients within a dedicated Burn Intensive Care Unit. The position emphasizes high-quality patient care, adherence to clinical standards, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and treatment outcomes.

Job Details

  • Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NIH certification required; ABLS preferred. Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience with burn care preferred; must have experience with ICU level of care and proficiency in cardiac rhythm monitoring.
  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Manage debridement, dressing changes, line insertions, chest tube maintenance, post-op procedural care, and ensure compliance with unit policies and procedures.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Burn experience, NIH, CRRT training, and hemodynamic monitoring proficiency.
  • Dress Code: Navy blue scrub top, navy blue or black scrub pants, scrub jacket. No T-shirts, hoodies, or sweatshirts allowed.
