Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Bone Marrow Transplant & Hematology Oncology – Ohio
Start Date: October 19, 2026

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (rotating day/night schedule based on department needs; reviewed every 4-week scheduling period)
Highlights:
- Specialized Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit combining oncology, progressive care, and medical-surgical acuity levels
- Comprehensive patient case mix including autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic transplants, plus CAR-T therapy
- Work with complex hematology-oncology diagnoses including leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, and myelodysplastic syndromes
- 36-bed unit with daily census of 33 patients; telemetry monitoring with GE system
- EPIC electronic medical record system; 72-hour orientation provided
- Float only to other Medical-Surgical Oncology units within the health system
Requirements:
- Current Ohio RN license or valid Compact license
- Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient hematology-oncology experience (medical-surgical setting required)
- Specific experience required with leukemia/blood dyscrasias, lymphoma (including Non-Hodgkin's), and multiple myeloma
- Current chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- EPIC charting experience required
- Nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Demonstrated competency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, blood product administration, central line management, PICC line care, and chemotherapy administration
- 2 professional references required (at least 1 from a manager or director)
