**Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse • Mids**
**Location:** Corpus Christi, TX
**Job Description:**
Join our team as a Behavioral Health RN, providing vital care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Work mid•shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with potential for 16•hour shifts. Enjoy every other weekend off in a supportive environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Administer medications and manage treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Supervise healthcare staff.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and patients.
• Execute emergency procedures, including CPR.
• Follow Safe Use of Restraint (SUR) protocols.
**Qualifications:**
• Active Texas RN License or Nurse Licensure Compact eligibility.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Experience in mental health and developmental disabilities preferred.
• Strong understanding of nursing regulations and procedures.
**Additional Information:**
• Includes 2 weeks of education and 2 weeks of on•the•job training.
• Low patient ratios, adjusted by patient needs.
• Agency nurses may float between units.
• COVID•19 vaccination required.
