Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health- Obtain and record initial assessment and establish priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and needs
- Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and interventions
- Develop and implement a measurable, individualized plan of care
- Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of facts and patient outcomes
- Participate in health education and discharge planning
- Implement and document timely interventions
- Evaluate the plan of care
- Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health- Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
- BLS Certification required
- CPI certification or equivalent required (Blue Card preferred)
- Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the Behavioral Health patient population
