Behavioral Health RN – Days / Evenings / Nights

 

Location: Tuscaloosa, AL Start Dates: 10/16, 11/2, 11/16, 12/1, or 12/16 Contract 

 

Length: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours/week Schedule: 4x10s

Available Shifts

  • Days: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
  • Evenings: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM
  • Nights: 10:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Compensation

Travel RN

  • Gross Weekly Pay: $1,800
  • Taxable Pay: $800/week
  • Housing Stipend: $1,000/week
  • Meals Stipend: $0

Local RN

  • Gross Weekly Pay: $1,680
  • Taxable Pay: $1,680/week

 

Position Overview

Seeking a Behavioral Health RN to provide nursing care to adult patients in an inpatient psychiatric setting. Patient population includes individuals with behavioral health needs, developmental delays, and probate or forensic commitments.

  • Adult males and females, ages 18+
  • Probate and forensic commitments
  • Behavioral health
  • Developmental delays

Requirements

  • Active Alabama RN license or Compact License
  • Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
  • Behavioral Health experience
  • BLS certification
  • Travel experience preferred, but not required

Scheduling & Weekend Rotation

  • Candidates will work every third weekend.
  • Weekend shifts will be 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
  • Following the scheduled weekend, candidates will receive three days off and work additional shifts to complete their 40-hour workweek.
  • Workweek runs Saturday–Friday.
  • No floating required.
  • Limited RTO accepted (maximum 2–3 days).
  • No holiday RTO.
