Behavioral Health Registered Nurse - Nights

Location

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12HR: 8PM - 8AM, with weekends and holidays as assigned.

Job Description

Join a beautiful brand new facility and be a part of a dedicated team providing care for adults, geriatric patients, and adolescents with mental health and behavioral disorders, as well as substance abuse and addictions. You will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care and support to individuals in an acute inpatient hospital setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to patients with mental health and behavioral disorders.
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Document patient care using Epic and manage paper charting for restraint procedures.
  • Participate in de-escalation training to enhance patient care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Active PA license required at the time of submission.
  • 1 year of recent experience in behavioral health or psychiatric care.
