Observe the physiological manifestations of patients and intervene when necessary. Administer medication as prescribed. Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products. Deliver patient care competently. Interact with families and patients in sharing care plans during hospitalization and at discharge. Inform patients and families of hospital procedures. Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel. Delegate tasks to support staff.
