Ambulatory Float Registered Nurse
Kodiak Area Native Association (KANA) | Kodiak, Alaska
KANA is seeking a flexible and patient-focused Ambulatory Float Registered Nurse to provide nursing support across multiple clinical areas based on patient and staffing needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing coverage in ambulatory care, telephone triage, case management, employee health, immunizations, and specialty clinics
- Assess patient needs and provide high-quality, patient-centered care
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record
- Support continuity of care and quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and clinical assignments
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of nursing experience
- BSN preferred
- Experience in ambulatory care, triage, case management, employee health, or public health
- EHR experience
- Tribal, rural, or community healthcare experience
