Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Alaska
Start Date: September 29, 2026
Location: Alaska

Schedule: 40 hours per week (guaranteed hours begin after first week of orientation)
Highlights:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care across all patient populations from birth to elderly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver quality, cost-effective care
- Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Serve as a resource person and supervise unit support staff in collaboration with Charge Nurse
- Work in a culturally diverse environment with emphasis on age-specific care considerations
- Administer treatments, medications, interpret diagnostic tests, and provide patient/family education
Requirements:
- Graduate of NLN-approved nursing education program
- Current Alaska Registered Professional Nurse license in good standing
- Current BLS certification
- COVID-19 vaccination (proof required)
- Preferred: One year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Basic EKG skills and competency with medical equipment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and nursing process
- Ability to work flexible schedule and perform independent actions within established guidelines
