The RN will care for patients in an acute-care setting, monitoring patients who require telemetry/cardiac monitoring and providing ongoing nursing care.

The nurse is responsible for the full patient-care process—assessment, medication/treatment, monitoring, education, coordination with providers, and helping patients transition safely through their care.

The facility is specifically looking for:

• Active California RN license
• BLS through AHA
• 2 years of solid Telemetry experience
• ACU/PACU experience is required
• Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts
• Weekend rotation
• No on-call requirement

Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts
Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Shift: Rotating / nights
On-call: None
Weekends: Rotation required

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Tele/Ambulatory Care setting.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in clinical condition.
• Monitor patients on telemetry/cardiac monitoring and promptly communicate significant changes.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, symptoms, and response to treatment.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide patient and family education regarding medications, treatment plans, disease management, and follow-up care.
• Assist with transitions of care, including admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Address patients' physical, psychological, social, cultural, spiritual, and lifestyle needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and take appropriate action.
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital policies.
• Provide a safe, compassionate, and individualized patient-care experience.

Tele/ACU RN needed for a 3×12 night-shift position, requiring 2+ years of solid Telemetry plus ACU/PACU experience, CA RN license, and AHA BLS. No call, but weekend rotation is required.
