- Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients using the nursing process:
- Assessment
- Diagnosis
- Planning
- Intervention
- Evaluation
- Complete nursing database and care plan with concise and pertinent information.
- Report findings to the physician and collaborate for optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform nursing procedures and interventions safely and efficiently with technical skill.
- Safely defuse anxious, hostile, or violent behavior at the earliest possible stage.
- Identify patient learning needs and provide education tailored to each individual.
- Utilize effective delegation to support team dynamics and enhance care delivery.
- Adhere to annual training and the nurse practice act for continuous improvement.

- Experience in a surgical center or applicable healthcare setting.
**Education:**
- Required Education:
- Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.

**Certifications & Licensure:**
- Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Current Kansas Registered Nurse License.
- BLS Certification.
- ACLS Certification.
- Preferred Certifications & Licensure: Not Applicable.
**Schedule Notes:**
- Looking for 8 or 10 hour shifts with variable hours between 0530-2030.
