Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Client Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 6 months experience required License: Valid State License (Compact License) required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Candidates must be well-rounded and patient. - Candidates should be understanding of neurological illnesses. Description: This is a general neurology practice focused on treating patients with a variety of neurological illnesses, such as TBI, stroke, CVA, and substance abuse. An RN in this role will manage Epic nurse inboxes and work queues. The RN will triage and respond to patient phone calls and messages. Responsibilities include processing medication refill requests and routing for provider signature as needed. The RN will manage and coordinate lab orders and imaging orders as well as results. Support for high acuity neurology patients is essential, including coordination of infusion-related tasks. Transcribing and documenting voicemail messages into the electronic health record is required. The RN will process inbound clinical faxes requiring provider review or signature. Abstracting and entering labs, such as genetic testing, will be part of the duties. The role demands ensuring accurate and timely clinical documentation. Support patient safety and continuity of care across assigned providers. Other duties may be assigned within the scope of a Registered Nurse.
