Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (19:00-07:00) | Every Third Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the Administrative Nurse Supervisor (ANS), providing clinical oversight and leadership during night shift hours
- Provide primary clinical backup support for the Emergency Department
- Support Med/Surg and Special Care units as needed
- Float within the hospital or to an affiliate facility as operationally required
- Document and chart using Epic/Excellian in accordance with facility requirements
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - license in hand preferred; pending licensure candidates must initiate the applicable state license application upon offer acceptance
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a House Supervisor or related specialty
- Proficiency with Epic/Excellian electronic health records
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
- A minimum of 1 supervisor reference required at time of submission
- Must be able to comply with fingerprinting requirements, which may involve traveling to an approved LiveScan location
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a critical access or community hospital setting
- Background supporting Emergency Department operations in a supervisory or charge capacity
- Familiarity with Level 4 trauma and Stroke Ready hospital protocols
