Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Administrative Nurse Supervisor (ANS), providing clinical oversight and leadership during night shift hours
  • Provide primary clinical backup support for the Emergency Department
  • Support Med/Surg and Special Care units as needed
  • Float within the hospital or to an affiliate facility as operationally required
  • Document and chart using Epic/Excellian in accordance with facility requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - license in hand preferred; pending licensure candidates must initiate the applicable state license application upon offer acceptance
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a House Supervisor or related specialty
  • Proficiency with Epic/Excellian electronic health records
  • Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • A minimum of 1 supervisor reference required at time of submission
  • Must be able to comply with fingerprinting requirements, which may involve traveling to an approved LiveScan location
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior experience in a critical access or community hospital setting
  • Background supporting Emergency Department operations in a supervisory or charge capacity
  • Familiarity with Level 4 trauma and Stroke Ready hospital protocols
