Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in the specialty
- CVOR experience preferred
- Experience circulating open heart cases preferred
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or a compact license in hand at time of submission
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty from the past 12 months
- Required certifications must be active and in hand at submission
- Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate during orientation
- Must be comfortable with compliance and onboarding requirements for a travel healthcare assignment
Responsibilities
- Circulate cardiovascular and open heart surgical cases in a fast-paced OR environment
- Support surgeons and the perioperative team with safe, efficient patient care
- Maintain sterile technique and uphold operating room best practices throughout procedures
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in the surgical setting
- Collaborate closely with the care team to ensure smooth case flow and positive outcomes
- Participate in call coverage as scheduled and provide reliable support when needed
- Contribute to a professional, team-oriented environment focused on quality patient care
