Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Admissions Pending Unit – Kansas
Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Topeka, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week, holidays as needed, no call required

- Admissions Pending Unit (APU) focused on rapid patient throughput with ideal length of stay of 4 hours or less
- Epic EMR system utilized facility-wide
- Fast-paced acute care environment managing a wide variety of patient diagnoses
- Opportunity to manage cardiac and anticoagulant drips including Cardizem and Heparin
- May be required to float to other units as needed
Requirements:
- Active Kansas state RN license or multistate compact license required at time of submission
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications via American Heart Association required at time of submission
- Previous travel nursing experience required – no first-time travelers
- Clean, unrestricted license with no disciplinary actions
- Experience working independently in fast-paced, high-volume acute care settings
- Strong clinical skills including IV drip management and rapid patient assessment
- All compliance documentation due by October 1, 2026
