TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Acute Care RN in Topeka, Kansas, 66604!

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Admissions Pending Unit – Kansas

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Topeka, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week, holidays as needed, no call required

Highlights:
  • 26-week assignment at an award-winning Level II Trauma Center
  • Admissions Pending Unit (APU) focused on rapid patient throughput with ideal length of stay of 4 hours or less
  • Epic EMR system utilized facility-wide
  • Fast-paced acute care environment managing a wide variety of patient diagnoses
  • Opportunity to manage cardiac and anticoagulant drips including Cardizem and Heparin
  • May be required to float to other units as needed
Requirements:
  • Active Kansas state RN license or multistate compact license required at time of submission
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications via American Heart Association required at time of submission
  • Previous travel nursing experience required – no first-time travelers
  • Clean, unrestricted license with no disciplinary actions
  • Experience working independently in fast-paced, high-volume acute care settings
  • Strong clinical skills including IV drip management and rapid patient assessment
  • All compliance documentation due by October 1, 2026
