Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020–$2,130
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour shifts; days, nights, and mids required
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, based on unit staffing needs
• Call: None
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric cardiac patients

Acute Care RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Pennsylvania
• At least 1 year of acute care nursing experience required; 2 or more years preferred
• Recent cardiac, telemetry nursing, or progressive care unit (PCU) experience required
• Experience caring for patients with chest pain, myocardial infarction, post-operative cardiac procedures, TAVR, Watchman procedures, and pacemakers
• Current BLS certification
• Ability and willingness to work day, night, and mid shifts
• Completion of all required Pennsylvania employment clearances, background screening, and fingerprinting before the start date
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach to patient care

Telemetry/Progressive Care RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive acute care nursing to adult and geriatric patients on a cardiac Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and changes in patient condition
• Care for patients with acute cardiac diagnoses and post-procedure needs
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with clinical standards
• Recognize and promptly escalate clinical changes or signs of deterioration
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing assistants, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in EPIC
• Support safe transitions of care through patient and family education
• Float to support higher-acuity or 1:1 patient care needs when required
