Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of acute care nursing experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Telemetry, PCU, or cardiac nursing experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with EPIC preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to work all shift times as needed, including days, nights, and mids if requested by the facility
• Ability to complete required Pennsylvania clearances and screenings prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac and telemetry/PCU patients
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Support care for patients with diagnoses such as chest pain, MI, open heart recovery, Watchman, TAVR, post-op cardiac cath, and post-op pacer cases
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to promote safe, effective patient care
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record
• Maintain a professional, flexible approach in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Follow unit protocols, safety standards, and assignment expectations
