Job Summary
This is a 13-week travel assignment for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) in Rochester, New York. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care within a dynamic hospital environment, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
This role involves managing patient assessments, implementing care plans, administering medications, and educating patients and families. The RN will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to all facility policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for efficacy and adverse reactions.
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and medical information accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate interventions as needed.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
