Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in an acute care setting located in Rochester, New York. This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality, compassionate patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for efficacy and adverse reactions.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner within the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care interventions as needed.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
