Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse – Ohio
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Akron, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM. On-call requirements include 1-2 weekday call shifts per week from end of shift until 7:00 AM, one weekend call per 6 weeks (24 hours Saturday and 24 hours Sunday), and one working shift Saturday or Sunday per 6 weeks. May be rotated on holiday call schedule as needed.

Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license (permanent Ohio license or compact license required at submission)
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 12 months permanent nursing experience; CVOR experience preferred
- Experience circulating open heart cases
- One reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in specialty from past 12 months required
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Negative drug screen required; nicotine screening exemption applies for nurses
- Successful completion of BCI/FBI background check within 48 hours of contract signing
