Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to provide leadership and oversight for nursing operations during the night shift at a healthcare facility located in Penn Yan, New York. The Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care delivery, managing nursing staff, and maintaining efficient unit operations. This position requires a proactive leader capable of critical decision-making and effective communication within a dynamic clinical environment.

As an RN Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting patient safety and staff performance. You will serve as a resource for clinical staff, address patient and family concerns, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and direct nursing staff during the assigned shift, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and resource allocation.

Required Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
  • Prior experience in a charge nurse or supervisory role.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
