Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in Rochester, New York. This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality patient care within an acute care setting, contributing to a dynamic healthcare team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring positive patient outcomes during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with established nursing standards and hospital policies.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for efficacy and adverse reactions.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress accurately and timely.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced and demanding healthcare environment.
