Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
- Administer medications safely and accurately, monitoring for efficacy and adverse reactions.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests as ordered, documenting findings thoroughly.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care as needed.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Additional relevant certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS) depending on unit assignment.
