Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
  • Administer medications safely and accurately, monitoring for efficacy and adverse reactions.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests as ordered, documenting findings thoroughly.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care as needed.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Previous travel nursing experience.
  • Additional relevant certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS) depending on unit assignment.

  • Proficiency in patient assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making.
  • Strong medication administration and IV therapy skills.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot common medical equipment.
