Registered Nurse
Job Summary
This is a 13-week contract opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population within an acute care setting.
Responsibilities include patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards of practice during night shifts. The role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered care and collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with professional nursing standards and facility policies.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical history accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, other nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care Registered Nurse experience.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Specialty certification relevant to acute care (e.g., Med-Surg, Telemetry).
