Registered Nurse Job Summary

This is an exciting 13-week travel Registered Nurse assignment located in Geneva, New York. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population within an acute care setting. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of adapting to new environments and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards of practice. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient well-being in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and adverse reactions.
  • Perform and document nursing interventions accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care interventions as needed.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
