Job Summary
This is a 13-week travel assignment for a dedicated Registered Nurse located in Penn Yan, New York. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, compassionate patient care within a dynamic healthcare setting, contributing to positive patient outcomes and an excellent patient experience.
The role involves working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This position is ideal for an experienced RN seeking a challenging and rewarding travel opportunity in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based nursing interventions.
- Administer medications safely and accurately, monitor patient responses, and document all care provided in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, other nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, laboratory results, and diagnostic tests, reporting changes in patient condition promptly.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

- Proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and wound care.
- Competency in operating standard medical equipment (e.g., IV pumps, vital sign monitors, EKG machines).
