Job Opportunity – Endoscopy Registered Nurse – Ohio
Start Date: November 13, 2026
Location: Akron, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift (hours vary: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM). Specific shift times will be discussed during the interview process.
Highlights:
- No scheduled weekends unless called in for emergency coverage
- Call requirements: 1-2 weekday evening call shifts per week (after shift until 7:00 AM) and 1-2 weekend call shifts per 6-week period (24-hour Saturday and Sunday rotation)
- One-hour response time required for call
- Contract extension opportunities available for up to 18 months
- Pre-start modules required (average 6-15 hours; first 4 hours billable)
- Comprehensive orientation and ongoing education support
Requirements:
- Active Ohio RN License or compact state RN License (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum of 12 months permanent Endoscopy nursing experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (must be active at time of submission)
- One reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in Endoscopy from within the past 12 months
- COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Influenza vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
- BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- Clean license and background check (no open cases accepted)
