Registered Nurse - Outpatient Head & Neck
Job Summary
This Registered Nurse position is for an experienced professional within an outpatient clinic setting, specializing in Head & Neck care. The role is based in Atlanta, Georgia, at a dedicated Head & Neck Associates practice.
The successful candidate will be integral to patient care, focusing on practice nursing duties and comprehensive care coordination for individuals with various head and neck conditions. This involves managing patient flow, assisting with clinical procedures, and ensuring seamless patient journeys within the specialized environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support within an outpatient Head & Neck specialty clinic.
- Coordinate patient care plans, appointments, and follow-ups.
- Serve as a primary resource for patient education and support regarding their conditions and treatment plans.
- Manage clinical documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in a Head & Neck specialty setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Georgia.
