Registered Nurse - Acute Medicine
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Acute Medicine Unit in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a variety of acute medical conditions within a hospital setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards. This is a night shift position, offering an opportunity to contribute to patient well-being during critical hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, medication administration, and treatment, according to physician orders and nursing care plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs, observe changes in condition, and report significant findings to the medical team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and thorough electronic health records.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or compact state eligibility.
- Minimum of Not specified years of recent experience within an Acute Medicine or Medical-Surgical specialty.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.

Shift Details
- Shift Type: Nights (NOC)
- Shift Duration: 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

- Holiday Expectations: Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) AND 1 of the 3 minor holidays (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).

Licensing Requirements
