ID: 64370812 Shift: First Shift 5x8 Hr Description: Job Summary:Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients, operating sophisticated imaging equipment such as gamma cameras, and analyzing the resulting images to assist physicians in diagnosing illnesses.Job Responsibilities:--35% Patient Care:-Prepare patients for nuclear medicine procedures by explaining the process, obtaining medical histories, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. -Provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout the nuclear medicine procedures. -Address any patient concerns or discomforts and ensure their safety and well-being during the imaging process.--35% Radiopharmaceutical Administration, Imaging Procedures, and Image Analysis:-Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to prescribed protocols and guidelines.-Ensure proper dosage and injection technique to optimize imaging results. -Operate gamma cameras and other specialized imaging equipment to capture images of radioactive tracers within the patient's body.
