Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a healthcare setting, performing a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures. The technologist provides support for other imaging technologists as needed and helps facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow. Flexibility to work various shifts and/or at different campuses is required. The role involves troubleshooting equipment, participating in quality assurance, and ensuring compliance with radiation safety protocols. The position is for a full-time assignment from 10/19/2026 to 01/18/2027, with scheduling primarily during daytime hours.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an accepted and approved equivalent; 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting preferred; basic computer experience required; Nuclear Medicine Technology certification (N) by ARRT or NMTCB required; state licensure as applicableMRT by TMBB for Texas; BLS certification required (AHA only).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience of at least 1 year in a clinical nuclear medicine environment.
- Additional Information: The position involves a heavy caseload, requiring the technologist to work until each case for the day is completed. On-call and weekend duties are not required. The technologist must demonstrate flexibility by working different shifts and at various campuses as needed or required. Responsibilities include adhering to safety protocols, completing daily logs, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting patient care and departmental operations.
