Job Summary:
The healthcare professional is a Nuclear Medicine Technologist based in Lansing, Michigan. This role involves performing diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures at a technical level that ensures high-quality images in accordance with established policies and procedures. The position requires performing patient assessments, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining safety protocols to support accurate diagnoses.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Registered in Nuclear Medicine with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB); at least 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience; Michigan license verification; current BLS certification; skills checklist completed within one year of application
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional experience outside of nursing professions is preferred
- Additional Information: Performs diagnostic studies involving measurement and preparation of radioactive isotopes to produce images as ordered by physicians. Ensures quality assurance, radiation safety, and regulatory compliance. Maintains documentation, supplies, and equipment care; may assist other radiology areas as assigned. Responsible for adherence to all safety and procedural standards.
