The facility is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Flint, Michigan. This role involves performing diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures with a focus on delivering high-quality images in accordance with established policies and procedures. The technologist will operate specialized imaging equipment, obtain patient histories, and ensure safety protocols are followed within a busy healthcare environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA)-approved school of nuclear medicine; registered in Nuclear Medicine with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB); active Michigan license verification for nurses if applicable.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Skills checklist completed within one year of application for nursing specialties; additional experience outside of nursing is a plus.
  • Additional Information: Responsible for performing all aspects of patient exam activities of nuclear medicine at a technical level that will produce high-quality images consistent with established policies and procedures. Will obtain patient histories, operate and maintain imaging equipment, and perform quality assurance and radiation safety practices. May assist in other radiology areas as assigned.
