Job Summary:
The registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist position is located in Jacksonville, Florida. This role involves producing high-quality nuclear medicine images in accordance with established standards within the department of radiology. The technologist must be competent with a variety of equipment and technology, practicing safety guidelines for patients and support personnel. The position requires flexibility to adapt to various work locations, shift times, and lengths, with a primary schedule of daytime hours.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 13-week assignment, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with 8 hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: - No additional education requirements listed. - Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, registered by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (CNMT) or ARRT (N) Nuclear Medicine. - Florida License in Nuclear Medicine. - BLS certification required within ninety (90) days of start date. - Location requirements include being registered and licensed as specified. - At least 1 year of relevant experience in the field.
- Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Nuclear Medicine equipment and procedures. - Knowledge in operating PET/CT scanners and performing Nuclear Cardiology Cardiolite perfusion scans. - Excellent patient care skills and ability to operate professionally within a large team.
- Additional Information: - Must be capable of operating PET/CT scanners and performing nuclear cardiology procedures such as Cardiolite perfusion scans. - Fosters teamwork through effective communication and maintains flexibility for staffing at various locations and shifts.
