Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Michigan. Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA)-approved school of nuclear medicine; registration in Nuclear Medicine with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB); Michigan license verification for nurses if applicable; certifications include BLS and ARRT; minimum of 0 years experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Skills checklist completed within one year of application for nursing specialties; additional experience outside of nursing is preferred.
- Additional Information: The role involves obtaining patient history, operating and maintaining nuclear imaging equipment, preparing and administering radioactive substances, performing quality assurance, and adhering to radiation safety protocols. The technologist may assist in other radiology areas as assigned and is responsible for documentation, maintenance, and supply management.
