Job Summary:
A position for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is available at a healthcare facility in Lithonia, Georgia. The role involves performing nuclear medicine imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. The technician will work on a dayshift schedule, providing essential imaging services in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details:

  • Certifications/Education/Experience: ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification; BLS certification; at least 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine imaging.
  • Schedule: 8:00 am 3:30 pm, five days a week, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Position Description: Responsible for executing nuclear medicine procedures using Siemens EVO/Siemens INTEVO equipment. The role involves working with patients presenting diagnoses such as coronary artery disease, hypertension, diabetes, cancer, shortness of breath, nausea/vomiting, tests for pulmonary embolism, osteomyelitis, gastrointestinal bleeding, and right lower quadrant pain.
  • Additional Information: The role requires float capability as needed to other departments including diagnostic imaging, hospital nuclear medicine, and cardiac services. No local candidates within 50 miles are accepted for this position.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates must have valid ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification and BLS certification.
