Travel Nuclear Medicine Technician Location: Nampa, Idaho Pay Rate: $62.86 – $64.86 per hour
Position Overview An established healthcare organization seeks a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 90-day onsite contract in Nampa, Idaho. The role supports a nuclear medicine department performing diagnostic imaging across cardiac, oncologic, skeletal, and general nuclear applications.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with regulatory protocols
Perform a full range of diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures including planar, SPECT, and SPECT/CT imaging
Acquire, process, and quality-check images for radiologist interpretation
Operate gamma cameras and associated imaging equipment safely
Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate care
Maintain accurate records of radiopharmaceutical handling and patient dosing
Comply with radiation safety, NRC, and state regulatory requirements
Requirements
ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification in good standing
Active Idaho nuclear medicine license or eligibility
Minimum 1 year clinical nuclear medicine experience
BLS certification
Must reside 60+ miles from facility (travel assignment requirement)
Preferred Qualifications
SPECT/CT or PET/CT experience
Cardiac stress testing experience
Familiarity with RIS/PACS systems
