Key Responsibilities
Perform PET/CT imaging procedures utilizing dual certification in Nuclear Medicine and Computed Tomography
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the imaging process
Interpret physician orders and select appropriate imaging parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
Train new technologists and patient coordinators
Troubleshoot imaging equipment and related peripherals
Assist in establishing protocols and workflows within a newly launched PET-CT department
Required Qualifications
Dual certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology and Computed Tomography
Current ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine
ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
Experience performing PET/CT imaging procedures
Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards and protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience contributing to the development of imaging protocols and departmental workflows
Prior experience training or mentoring imaging staff
Familiarity with launching or supporting a new imaging department or service line
