    Nuclear Medicine Technologist

    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform nuclear medicine procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation
    • Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes, ensuring correct isotope and dose are used; perform venipuncture and maintain venous access
    • Position patients and equipment to best demonstrate the anatomic area of interest, with attention to patient safety, comfort, and immobilization as needed
    • Operate nuclear medicine equipment, select appropriate acquisition parameters per established protocols, and evaluate images and data for technical quality
    • Document all procedure-related information in the electronic medical record, including medication reconciliation, and ensure patients receive appropriate discharge instructions
    • Utilize radiology information systems including PACS, archive and submit images for physician review, and assist with PET services as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program (education verification required)
    • Active CNMT or ARRT(N) certification required
    • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Experience operating nuclear medicine equipment and associated imaging systems
    • Proficiency with radiology information systems and PACS
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience assisting with PET imaging services
    • Familiarity with radiopharmaceutical ordering through vendor-specific protocols
