Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Call rotation required approximately every 5 weeks
Key Responsibilities
Administer nuclear imaging procedures and calculate, prepare, measure, and administer diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and adjunctive medications under physician direction, adhering to all relevant safety standards
Perform a variety of nuclear medicine studies on inpatients and outpatients across all age groups, from neonate to geriatric, including hot lab duties
Operate nuclear medicine cameras and equipment, process imaging data, and transmit results to required destinations via computer systems including Epic and SECTRA PACS
Monitor patient condition throughout imaging procedures, collect patient information, analyze data, and produce quality images for physician diagnosis
Apply NRC rules and regulations and implement radiation safety standards and quality assurance practices into daily workflow
Perform PET/CT scans as needed based on departmental needs; cross-training available though not required
Required Qualifications
Active NMTCB (CNMT) or ARRT (N) certification required
Current BLS/CPR certification required
Active North Dakota state license required
Ability to perform nuclear medicine procedures following department orientation
Understanding of NRC rules, radiation safety practices, and nuclear medicine equipment theory and principles
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience with Siemens Symbia cameras preferred
Experience with Epic electronic health records and SECTRA PACS systems preferred
PET/CT experience is a plus, though not required for scheduling purposes
