Nuclear Medicine Technologist / Nuclear Medicine Technician - CT Experience

New York, NY | Monday-Friday | 10:00 AM-6:00 PM | 40 Hours/Week | Contract

We are actively seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist / Nuclear Medicine Technician for a contract opportunity in New York City. This is a great opportunity for a qualified Nuclear Medicine professional with Nuclear Medicine and CT experience who is ready to step into a clinical environment and make an immediate impact.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Local Pay Rtae: $82/ hour on W2 without benefits

Key Responsibilities

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for supporting daily Nuclear Medicine operations and providing safe, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures in accordance with established clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Operate, test, and assist with Nuclear Medicine equipment and related laboratory systems.
  • Prepare and position patients for Nuclear Medicine procedures.
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures, preparation, and what to expect during examinations.
  • Follow all applicable safety, regulatory, and departmental standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure procedures are performed efficiently and professionally.
  • Collaborate with physicians, technologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain excellent organization, attention to detail, and patient service throughout the workday.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist / Nuclear Medicine Technician experience.
  • Associate Degree required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist through ARRT.
  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist through NMTCB.
  • Nuclear Medicine and CT experience required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
