Description

American Traveler is hiring a PET/CT & Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an outpatient care setting with a steady Monday-Friday schedule and no on-call requirements.

Details

• Outpatient care setting performing PET/CT and general nuclear medicine imaging
• Approximately 33 PET/CT scans per day using 2 PET/CT scanners (Siemens equipment)
• Mostly oncology cases including whole-body FDG, brain, cardiac, and neuroendocrine imaging
• Monday-Friday schedule, 8-hour shifts (8:00-4:30 or 8:30-5:00)
• Optional 10-hour shifts during holiday weeks
• One evening shift and one Saturday shift per month
• No on-call requirements
• Federal holidays off

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in PET/CT and general nuclear medicine
• ARRT(N), ARRT(R), or NMTCB certification (does not require all three)
• BLS certification required
• Ohio state license required if applicable
• Experience with IV starts and PACS
• Inpatient and outpatient experience required
• Experience with myocardial imaging, adenosine infusion, exercise/rest protocols, persantine infusion, pharmacological stress, brain scans, and cerebral blood flow studies preferred
• ICU/EKG experience preferred
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required, including at least 1 from a manager/director or supervisor; Charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references accepted
