Any call-offs or additional RTO could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. The expected start date is based on the schedule but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week and must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start. Final start dates will be confirmed on the Tuesday prior to the start week. Adult patients are primarily served in an outpatient cardiology setting, handling a broad range of diagnoses. Common diagnoses include coronary artery disease, pre-operative clearance, chest pain, and shortness of breath. The unit performs cardiology studies such as stress testing and amyloid studies. Average daily census is 10-12 patients with a patient ratio of 1:4. No call or weekend requirements are noted for this position. Special equipment includes Hot Lab equipment, dose calibrator, and well counter. Imaging equipment consists of Spectrum Dynamics DSPECT cameras. Candidates should be versatile and open to floating when necessary.
