Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced NICU RN for a 12-hour night rotation role requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience.

Details

  • Work in a 30-bed Intensive Care Nursery within a Children's Hospital offering full pediatric services
  • Average daily census of 22-24 patients
  • Float coverage required to Pediatrics, Pediatric Step Down, and PICU within the Children's Inpatient Unit, with skill-matched assignments
  • No delivery attendance required for travelers
  • 12-hour night shift (19:00-07:00) on a day/night rotation schedule
  • 48 scheduled hours per week

Requirements

  • Active RN license (NH or Compact) required
  • BLS certification required
  • Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required

Additional Information

  • Provide direct care to critically ill neonatal patients in an intensive care nursery setting
  • Float to other pediatric units as needed with consideration given to matching clinical skill sets
  • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
